Becoming Zahra Book

Becoming Zahra is a story born from a deeply personal moment—the excitement and uncertainty of wearing a hijab for the very first time. In this book, I invite you to join Zahra as she embarks on her journey of self-discovery. Like many young girls, Zahra experiences a mix of wonder and hesitation as she learns to wrap the hijab just right. There are moments of doubt and even a bit of embarrassment, but what shines through is her incredible determination and curiosity. As Zahra navigates this new chapter, she not only learns the art of wearing her hijab but also discovers the beauty of embracing her true self. I wrote this book to remind every child that growth is filled with little challenges and delightful surprises, and that every step toward self-acceptance is a brave and empowering adventure.

I hope Zahra’s journey inspires young readers to trust in themselves and to see that every new experience is a part of becoming who they are meant to be.
